No New Posts Asadia, Holy City of Dalataea
Once the proud capital city of Dalataea, over half of Asadia is now reduced to nothing more than rubble after a decade of civil war. Nestled against the Athurru River, Asadia was once renowned for its majestic bridges and delicate hanging gardens. The city is now only a shadow of its former self with bridges crumbled, homes destroyed, gardens burnt, and the majestic Dawn's Spire - the holy temple of the Morninglord - desecrated by the false prophet during his coup d'état of the imperial city. A profound sense of weariness can be seen in the eyes of the soldiers stationed within the city, and tension hangs thickly upon the air now that rumors have arisen of a foreign threat. Nevertheless, the Dalataeans continue to revere this city for its ties with the Morninglord, and will fight to defend the city till their last dying breath.

No New Posts Dimesca, The Waterfall City
The majestic city of waterfalls and esteemed home of the imperial family, Dimesca is truly a wondrous sight to behold. The true seat of power in the Dalataean Empire, the large metropolis is nestled directly upon the shores of both the Taor and Jalexis River. It is for this reason that the city seems to flourish without even trying, with riches and other various goods flowing into the city to be traded on a daily basis. Every street within Dimesca is cobbled with the finest stones, and the imperial palace itself can be found at the very heart of the city, with majestic banners dyed in the royal hue of crimson fluttering proudly in the wind to lead the way.

No New Posts The Alladian Steppes
Stretching from the southwestern shore of Indur all the way to where the Shunel and Athurru Rivers empty into the ocean on either side lies the rolling plains of the Alladian Steppes. It is here that the empire of Sadon N'pral landed ashore, already claiming the city of Rhitu as its own. Laraja lies several days to the northeast and is still beneath Dalataean control, but for how long?

No New Posts The Annor Hinterlands
Comprising the far southeastern portion of Indur, the Annor Hinterlands were once home to large cities and bustling trade life. In the years during the civil war Dalataea was forced to retract in upon itself to help stave off Duskrend, leaving the large cities to slowly dwindle in population until they could scarcely fill a large village. The Turvell Moorlands, Lake Khaterr, and the lake city of Valaerum are found here.

No New Posts The Caliiran Highlands
Far to the north of Asadia lies the Caliiran Highlands, where rolling hills rise up to meet where the Ebrue River stems from the Golden River. The haunting Nightshade Vale, where the horrors and despairs of the Great War may yet still be revisited, is nestled in the midst of the highlands, between the Ebrue and Shunel River. The city of Leriswar is to the southeast, settled directly in between two rivers; the Ebrue River to the east, and the smaller Athurru River branching off to the west. It is here that the hills and rocky boulders gradually begin to even out, eventually melding into the Dalataean countryside.

No New Posts The Dalataean Countryside
Dominating much of the continent, and indeed forming the very heart of the Dalataean Empire, the countryside is sporadically filled with grassy plains and forests. It is here that the Ebrue River branches off into three other smaller rivers, and where several cities and villages - both small and large - may be found. The Ruintine Outpost and Balanos Outpost are nestled upon the shores of Lake Taera, both to either side of the Golden River. As well, the large city of Aethrim can be found here, just several days south of the Ruintine's position.

No New Posts Ancient Lornor
A powerful city in it's own right, the city of Lornor controlled vast stretches of land that extended far out into what is now called the Dalataean Countryside. They were powerful allies of the Empire of Indur, and eventually were absorbed by the Empire. Before the end of their benefactors, however, the dark vengeance of the Undying King was visited upon this land, and its people destroyed. Their structures still stand after a millennia, however, a mute testament to the rage of the Elven people, the horrible nature of magical combat, and the devastating hatred of the elven King.

No New Posts Maelon, The Free City
No longer a province of Dalataea, the proud people of Maelon have made their majestic city into a modern work of engineering marvels. More than half hidden by great underground vaults and subterranean rivers, the city wards away the cold and offers a warm cheer in place of a frozen smile. Food and drink are in aplenty, and the great city beckons to any who would like to line their coffers with gold, of course feast and famine go hand and hand, so until one is firmly aware of the law in Maelon, it is advisable not to trade publicly.

No New Posts Graystone Keep
A place of grim stone and watchful guards, the city of mercenaries holds many delights and much more military strength. Designed to look less like a town, and more like a castle, the great fortress is packed with buildings that tower stories above the ground. Huddled in the southernmost northern steppes, the city is Maelon's furthest extension of strength, and closely watched by the scouts of Dalataea.

No New Posts Tavern Hold
Once barely more than a large town, the city of Tavern Hold was liberated by the retreating Dalataeans and the Silver Hawks of Maelon who came after them. It is now a shattered gathering of burned out stone houses and bloody history. Skelletal remains lay scattered about the haunted streets and dark shapes haunt the few windows that survived the town's destruction. Thousands of citizens and nearly five-hundred soldiers died across the city and the field outside, leaving a macabre display.

No New Posts The Golden City
The stronghold of ancient men, and the vassal of hidden Eldamar. The unbroken walls and unbridled spirit of early humanity infuses every bit of the mystical city, lending an otherworldly grace to the long lived people who dwell within it's walls. The greatest city in the world, it's great gates have seen armies from dozens of nations attempt to breach them, and always the field ran red with their blood, from the Great War to Dalataea, none have challenged the walls of the Golden City and survived.

No New Posts Lómelindilondë, The Haven of the Nightingales
A port city unlike any other, both above and below the water, the beauty of the elven stone masons work is indisputable. Much more military in bearing than the other Elven cities, Lómelindilondë is designed to withstand water born, airborne, and ground assault. Yet this purpose is masked by the elegance of craftsmanship, and the constant song of the little Nightingale to whom the city owes its name. Powerful masts and proud ships stand moored and ready at all times, should the elves have need to take to the waves.

No New Posts Haldaeska, The Veiled Home
Hidden high in the trees, the multi-level city of Haldaeska is an engineering and botanical marvel that defies comprehension. Near to the site where the elves lost their last queen, the city is full of pride and legends. Music is as common as speech here, and at every great aerial cross road the sound of elven harps and music can be heard flooding the trees. So well disguised that even other elves have trouble noticing it upon first visit, the Veiled Home remains the closest city to the outside world, hanging on the very edge of the Barrier and within sight of the Golden City.

No New Posts Aldëon, The Avenue of Trees
Smallest of the great Eldamar cities, the quiet lanes of Aldëon mask the quiet pain and destruction that lay beneath the waves of nearby Lake Mynirva. Shrouded in the mist of the past, Aldëon is second only to the Golden City in age, and when the great city that fell beneath the waves was destroyed, Aldëon is what was left. Solace and comfort can be found under the never ending boughs of the great elven forest, and none but the most pure and true of elven friends are invited here. It is here that the undying king, DarkStar holds his court.
